April 7, 8, 9th 2006 - Norfolk KC Simcoe, Ontario

Great weekend for littermates out of "Manny" (Vanderbilt's Man O'War) and "Tenny" (Vanderbilts Paint Me Pretentious!!  Entered just two days, "Madison" (Vanderbilt's Madison Avenue) picks up WB for 2+2 pts, and brother "Menley" (Dushanbe's Manhattan Skyline), showing 3 days, picks up 3XBW for 2+2+2 points to finish his Championship novice owner-handled.  LOTS of great compliments on these kids!!  This litter was co-bred by Dushanbe (Linda Johnson, NS) and Vanderbilt.  Menley is homebred Can.Ch. #85.  Fonzie (Vanderbilt's Playin' It Cool) also picked up 2xBB and a Group 3 on this weekend!  Thanks to Allan Marsh for handling and photo help!

April 14-16th weekend -

Perry, GA - Congrats to Manny x Tenny baby boy "Painter" on winning 2+2 more points and a Puppy Group 2 owner/handled by Allison Baker.

Edmonton, Alberta - Congrats to "Truman" kids on a BIG weekend!  "Custer" (Ch. Snowghosts Winterdance Tru Fate) wins the Edmonton Samoyed Club's Specialty BIS under j. Carol Graham, and his sister "Hemay" (Ch. Snowghosts Hemay Siku) wins BOS, and another sister "Tiara" (Snowghosts Winterdance Tiara) wins WB.  In addition to this great day, "Custer" also took a Group 4 and Tiara won points on 2 other days bringing her within 1 point of finishing!  Congrats to Tracey Parry and friends for a great weekend!  The dam of these great kids is "Faith", BIS Ch. Snowghosts That Pivotal Moment.  Check back later for pictures.


At home - We had to skip out on our planned Chatham Show weekend with Fonzie and Madison to take our lovely gal "Dory" to CT for a SUPER breeding to "Trillion".  More details in the Nursery.

The Fallon/Rockstar puppies go to NY for a photoshoot with their daddy!

April 22, 2006 - Potomac Valley Samoyed Club, Timmonium, MD - Congrats to Truman son "Clancy" (Echo's Patriot Games at Novel) for WD/BW for a 5 point major at the PVSC Specialty under j. Jean Fournier breeder/owner/handled by Jan Warner.  Clancy's Dam is "Macy" (Echo's Macy's On Parade at Novel) and he was co-bred by Deb Ray.


The "Fonz"

NEWS just in from CKC that Fonzie (Vanderbilt's Playin' It Cool) was #2 Sammy in Canada for 2005.  Fonzie started his puppy show career at 6 months of age in March/05 and was shown selectively in Canada and the USA throughout the year.  Fonzie ended up 2005 with 3 BIS, 3 BISS, both his Canadian and American Championships, won first AOM at the US National plus set a record for the most BPIS wins (21) of any breed in CKC history.  Fonzie, we are so proud of you!  FLASH: More news just in that "Manny" (BIS Can.Ch. Vanderbilt's Man O'War) ranks #3!  Congrats to Manny's co-owner Linda Johnson of Dushanbe Samoyeds.

Hearty congrats also go out to Lisa Hubenig of AB on her boy "Tundra's" great year culminating in #1 status!  It's a long, hard, lonely road - as anyone who's ever tried it knows, and a huge accomplishment!
