Feb. 2/3, 2002 - "Rocky" daughter "Indigo" (Am.Ch. Hawkwind's Dark Side of the Moon) takes her 2nd BISS at Samoyed Association of Madison Specialty under j. Klaus Anselm in an entry of 88. Indigo also took BOS the next day at the Milwaukee Samoyed Fanciers Specialty under j. Richard Lake. This little girl isn't even 2 yet! Indigo's lovely dam is Am.Ch. Charisma-Omni Front Page News, and her breeder/owner/handler is Susan Black.
 Feb. 8-10th - Baby Heero (VANDERBILT's WARPAINT) takes home 2 BPIS's, 2 Group placements, 3 BPIG's, and *new champion* title at his second Canadian weekend out at Argus KC. Not too shabby for a 7 month old BISCUIT kid!
   Feb. 15th - Heero, third generation VANDERBILT breeding on both sides of his pedigree, wins Best In Show/Best Puppy in Show at the Ontario Breeder's Association's annual Breeder's Cup competition. We are absolutely thrilled and thank the Ontario Breeder's Association for a valuable conceptual event, all the ringside supporters who cheered Heero on, and of course the judges who took him all the way (Brad Heard , Newfoundland breeder - Group 3; David Hudson Keeshonden breeder - BIS). A night to remember for sure...
 Also on this weekend in Markham ON, Serge & France Marcheterre's lovely girl Vanderbilt's Nordiclegend Cara (another "Truman" x "Ricki" kid)is owner-piloted to 2xWB, BW to finish her Championship. Congratulations!!
