July 26th, Wisconsin - "Rocky" daughter "Madonna" (Am.Can.Ch. Hawkwind's Like A Virgin) wins BOS at the Greater Milwaukee Samoyed Fanciers Specialty show under judge Mr. Graff.  Madonna's dam is BISS Am.Ch. Charisma-Omni Front Page News, and she was breeder-owner handled by Susan Black.

July 27-28, 2002 - Fredericton KC, Fredericton, NB - Big News ........ our homebred BABY girl (AKA the puppy who wouldn't leave), "Fallon", takes an All Breed Best In Show at 6 months, 8 days of age to finish her Championship from the Junior Puppy bitch class.  This BIS was awarded by Mr. Charles Francis of British Columbia.  Fallon also took a Group 2/BPIG the next day under Mr. Morley Thornton - all breeder/owner handled!  Winning BIS on a puppy is a first for our kennel, and there are no words to describe the feeling of getting this kind of win on a homebred.  You are an AMAZING little girl Fallon, and we have many people to thank for you staying here!  Thanks also to the judges for their confidence in a very young dog, and for their support of quality Samoyeds.

Congrats also go out to Vanderbilt Champion #52 "Shamus" (Vanderbilt's Moonsplitter) owned by Linda Roulston, who also swept the boy points to finish in Fredericton.  Shamus finished easily in 2 weekends as a 6 month old puppy.  Linda is also the owner/handler of Vanderbilt Champion #50 (Vanderbilt's Moonlight Magic - Keisha), so she's obviously on a roll!  Thanks Linda, we're proud of you and your kids!

July 27th, 2002 - Limestone KC, Kingston, ON - While Fallon & Judi were busy winning BIS/BPIS in Fredericton, Blair and our other baby girl "Claire" stayed in Ontario and went to Kingston for one day only - taking home the BIG BABY BLUE ROSETTE again - this time under Manitoba judge Mrs. Geraldine Taylor, owner-handled by Blair.  Thank you!  Winning 2 BPIS's in one day on two different puppies in two different provinces, is also a first for our kennel.  This BPIS was Claire's 4th, and she's also claimed 14 BPIG's to date.

July 27th, 2002 - while Fallon is winning BIS/BPIS in Fredericton with Judi handling - Claire (pictured) is winning BPIS in Ontario with Blair holding the lead.  We might just have a couple of starlets on our hands!
