August 1st,2nd,3rd, 2003 - Canfield, Ohio - new Am.Ch. "Flo" (Ch. Vanderbilt's Flowery Prose) as a "move up" goes BOS to 2 different boys on Aug. 1st and 2nd under judges Col. Weiss and Ms. Nietch. On August 3rd under Mr. Gifford, Flo goes all the way to BB in an entry of 30 Sams. Expertly handled the ENTIRE way by Jan Warner and Francois Akers. Thank you!! Check back for pictures. August 3rd, 2003 - Campbell River Dog Fanciers Society, Campbell River, BC - "Flo" x "Heero" son "Loki" (Vanderbilt Paints The Sky) went to his very first dog show and won Best Junior Puppy in Sweeps under j. Ms. Roberta Parrish, and later on to WD/BW/BB for 2 points and a cut in Group under Mr. Michel Bouchard. Congrats to owner Brian Daniels and Pat Warden! Loki is a full brother to our "Manny" (Vanderbilt's Man O'War).
 August wrap-up - we've been busy out and about at dog shows and as everyone knows - there are no computers in the rings!! Here is an abbreviated summary of recent show results - check back soon for pictures:
"Claire" (Multi BIS,BISS Can.Am.Ch. Snowghosts Vanderbilt So Easy) picks up 4 Group placements and a BIS at New Brunswick KC, 3 Group placements at Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry; and 4 Group 1's and a BIS at Conception Bay KC.
"Manny" (Ch. Vanderbilt's Man O'War) is undefeated for the WD points to his Canadian Championship (Vanderbilt #56). Following his 4 points at Kilbride KC in July, Manny picked up more points (and 2 BPIG) at New Brunswick KC to finish. As a move-up, at 7 months of age, Manny picked up 3 BPIG, 2 BPIS, a Group 1 and a Group 3 at Halifax KC --- owner handled by Linda Johnson. Manny is co-owned by Blair/Judi Elford.
"Tenny" (Ch. Vanderbilt Paint Me Pretentious) becomes Vanderbilt Canadian Champion # 57 in short order showing between 6-7 months of age at Dartmouth KC, New Brunswick KC, and Halifax KC shows handled by 14 year old Danny Johnson. CONGRATS DANNY & Tenny!!!!!!! Team Tenny (competing against Team Manny on 2 of the weekends) also picked up a BPIG along the way. Watch for this exquisite bitch with type, structure and attitude when she matures. Tenny is co-owned by Linda Johnson and Blair/Judi Elford.
