Feb. 1st - Kalamazoo, MI - Truman x Chyna daughter "Jade" (Shangrila's Jade of Vanderbilt) wins a match BB and Group 2 her first time out! Congrats to co-breeder/owner/handler Candice Bushouse. According to all the feedback we've been getting, "Jade" is really going to be a girl to watch! In other litter news ... Jade's two brothers have now left the nest for points in the USA ... "Rush" (Vanderbilt's True Rush of Aimee) has now joined Marion and Jerry Langlois' Aimee Samoyeds in the New Orleans area, and "Preacher" (now renamed "Ivan", Vanderbilt's Ivan Lee O'Alpha) is charming Lucy Ackerman in the Philadelphia area. Look for the show ring debut of both these stunning boys later in 2004.

 February 6th - Zaragoza, Spain - Truman x Sera baby boy "Crick" (Vanderbilt Crick For CanBatlle) goes to his first show and wins BB and Best of Group under VALENCIA judge Marija Kavcik. Crick wowed 'em with big movement and attitude! Congratulations to owner/handler Miquel Pardo. Watch for the debut of Crick's two lovely sisters soon ... "SeraLee" (Vanderbilt Dushanbe Pieceacake -- Johnson)) and "Heaven" (Vanderbilt's Heaven Lee -- Elford) ...
February 9th - New York City, NY - "Fallon" (BISS Can.Am.Ch. Vanderbilt Plays The Field) goes to "Mecca" (Westminster) and sparkles on the green carpet of Madison Square Garden. Though she did not win she sure had a blast "playing the bigtime" in an entry of 33 of the top US Sams, and showed her little heart out. WOW, we were there.... Congratulations to all the winners and participants of this prestigious show!

February 14/15 - Ontario Breeders Association, Markham ON - "Ivy" (Rexann's Wild Ivy O'Vanderbilt) wins WB/BW/BB (over Special) for 3 points + Group 3rd (2 more points)/BPIG under j. Mr. Doug Gaudin, and later onto BPIS under j. Mr. David Eadie. The next day Ivy goes on to WB/BW/BB under j. Ms. Patricia Miller for 2 more points. February 22, Korean Kennel Club World Championship show - Seoul, Korea - "Archie" (Ch. Vanderbilt Starcloud Atria Lee) as a mere 11 month old baby, wins BB and Group 3 under judge Mr. Carl Gomes. Owned by Misun Lee of Starcloud kennels and out of Heero x Terree. Mr. Gomes' classification of Archie was "Exceptional Puppy". You can visit the website of the beautiful Starcloud Samoyeds here.
