Montreal, QC - Canine Federation Canada Shows: Congrats to Gail and Dick Harington on a great weekend with their 2 Sams. Their "Heero" (V's WARPAINT) daughter "Sophie" (Can.Ch. Roka's Sophisticated Lady) won Best of Breed and 2nd in Group (Judge: Mrs. Soile Bister - Finland) and in the next show she won Best of Breed again (Judge: Mr. Miroslav Redlicki – Poland). She is now a CFC Elite Champion, having garnered the 7 certificates of excellence required for this title AND being the first Samoyed in Canada to achieve it. Entered in only one of the shows, their new co-owned Thor x Star baby boy "Jeffrey" (Vanderbilt's Thunderbird at Roka) won Best Puppy in Show!!! Congratulations Gail, Dick, Sophie & Jeffrey! Trout Creek, ON - Nipissing KC: WOW, what a great weekend for the 3 Sams we brought to Trout Creek. Thor x Pastel baby "Stroker" (V's PAINT STROKE) debuted at 6 months of age winning WDx6, BWx4, BPIGx5 and BPISx2 and actually collected the 10 points required for his Can.CH. title to become Vanderbilt homebred Can.Ch. #99! Stroker is a natural born showdog and showed like a pro - in spite of this being his first show experience. Also finishing a Can.CH. title was our new girl "Secret" (White Magic's Secret Lee). Entered in 3 shows, Secret was WBx3, BWx2, BBx2 and Group 4 x2. Also showing in 3 shows was "Yacker" (Cabaka's Yacker of McCoy) and earned BB x3, Group 2 x1 and Group 3 x2. Thank you to judges Maurice Tougas, Mark Houston McMillan, Guy Jeavons, Thora Brown, Allan Brown & Chris Nielson!!
 October 12-14th, 2007 - London Canine Association, Tillsonburg, ON - Another super and productive weekend at the dog shows for Vanderbilt! Congrats to Cherie Smith & Jan Warner's "Prophet" (Am.Ch. Echo's Prophecy To Daystar) on a fabulous Canadian debut weekent grabbing WD/BW x3 (and a BB under j. Joe Lobb!) for 6 points. Also in the ribbons was our Danish import "Lacey" (Cabaka's Lacey of Punjab) going WB on Day 1 to finish her Can.Ch., and "Lou Lou" (V's Rock Loud Play Loud) for WB on Days 2 and 3 and also finishing her championship, making her Vanderbilt's homebred Can.CH. #100!! Lou Lou is 4th in her litter (Rockstar x Fallon) to finish behind "Dilana", "Hardy", and Mia". Congrats also to our Danish boy "Yacker" on winning two Group 2's under judges Norma Egginton and Charles Trotter.
France - Congrats to Nadege Dubois' "Arcane" (V's Arcane O'Sanna) on receiving his first french CACIB under judge Oscar Meyer!
Oct. 19-21st, 2007 - Belleville KC, Belleville, ON - "Yacker" (Multi BIS Int.Ch. Cabaka's Yacker of McCoy) wins a Group 1 and two Group 2's under j.'s Don Duncan, James Reynolds, and Elaine Whitney. Our baby boy "Stroker" wins another BPIS under j. James Reynolds. Thank you judges!
Oct. 26-28th, 2007 Trillium Dog Fanciers, Toronto ON - "Yacker" goes Group 1 under George Heitzman (USA) and BIS under Edd Bivin (USA) on Friday; Group 2 under j. Robert Dawson (Phillipines) on Saturday, and Group 2 under j. Joan Frailey (USA) on Sunday shown by his breeder Gitte Morell. Also congrats to Cherie Smith and Jan Warner on *New Ch.* "Prophet" (Echo's Prophecy To Daystar) who was WD/BW under George Heitzman for 3 pts and WD under Glenn Stark for 3 pts to finish undefeated for WD pts. Yacker's littersister "Yunna" (Cabaka's Yunna of McCoy) was also shown and swept the points all 3 days! Congrats to all!
