"Mesa" - The Goddess of Vanderbilt

Proudly presenting ... "Mesa" - another extraordinary Wolf River bitch.  Our second WR import (first was "Kite" ROM), Mesa has also gone on to become a phenomenal ROM producer for our kennel.  But Maternal duties aside, Mesa is a beautiful, healthy, and exceptionally sweet tempered dog that has been a pleasure to own from the first day we got her as a young puppy.  Totally non-quarellsome with other dogs, nondominant yet "bubbly", "tail-wagging", and "effervescent" when in a social situation with people or dogs.  Mesa simply has never had a bad day in her life! Sometimes the value of a brood bitch or stud dog is only recognized in hindsight - after the history books have chronicled the stories of breeders dog's records and the dust is brushed off by some clever newbie, eventually.  Not so with Mesa.  She has several quality children with us and breeders worldwide - assuring her wonderful breed qualities will be passed on to future generations of Samoyeds in Canada and elsewhere.  Her grandchildren are now much sought after additions to going-concern breeding programs, and it looks like her place in Samoyed history as a matriarch of note is assured indeed. "The magic that is Mesa" as a dam of extraordinary quality puppies is in her amazing and fortuitous ability to be dominant for her virtues, and recessive for her faults.  Mesa lets the best of herself AND the sire shine through in her babies, while stamping true fronts and rears, better than average sidegait, exquisite heads, white plush coats, bone, and sweet personalities on the kids.  The high quality has certainly been more than evident in every litter she's whelped; and now we're seeing it in her grandchildren as well.  We are excited to announce that two Mesa grandchildren have been bred together and are expecting a litter in January.  See our Upcoming Litters page to view the Heero x Flo litter info.
