 Internationally acknowledged beauty ... Sera is pictured above winning BB over Specials under an Australian judge upon arriving in Canada from the US.
 We are happy to introduce you to our sweet treasure, "Sera".
Sera caught our eye BIGTIME at the 1999 SCA National Specialty in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. A rather petite girl, lower end of height standard (19.5") without being fine boned - Sera possesses a beautiful front, s-i-z-z-l-i-n-g sidegait, just off square outline, perfect tail and an "I 'am' all that" attitude that is hard to resist - apparently also for the judges who awarded her 1st in 12-18 month sweeps, and competing in Open under Annie Clark, made the cut to 6th in that class in a field of over 40 bitches. Everything about her shouted "working bitch" - the structure, mental drive, type were all those of a Sam who could and would get the job done.
The icing on the cake was her pedigree ... with 75% of the top half being repeatedly and deeply linebred on Nachalnik (via Kipperic/Capra) and 25% K-way; and the bottom half offering 75% Hoof 'n Paw (tightly linebred Painter) and 25% old Polar Mist - we knew Sera was a furry capsule representing some of the breeds BEST genes! We were enchanted and offered to buy her. Several months after the Specialty Sera was to become ours, and we've never once regretted the decision to take her into our hearts and home.
A beautifully and delicately biscuited-marked black-eyed gal who's an angel, a tiger, a loving devoted mom, a dominant lead bitch that will run all day, a perfectly mannered house dog ... and a funny, loyal dynamo of a friend..........
She's our incomparable "SERA"!
So the moral of my story is this...No matter how experienced a breeder you may be, how self-important you feel, or how posh your current dogs are, Sera is watching you. If you see her at a show outmoving/outshowing most of the competition and scooping up the ribbons, make sure your words are edible. We're pretty sure she's writing a book and we're convinced she's reporting to a Higher Authority.
