Brantford & District Kennel Club - Congrats to Yacker x Mercy son "Timber" (Vanderbilt's Copenhagen Timber) on a great 2 days of showing in Brantford!  On Day 1 Timber goes WD/BW and onto BB over a Special for 2 points AND onto Best Puppy in Group under j. R. Hasson.  Day 2 under j. M. Woods Timber goes WD/BW for 2 more points to finish his Championship at 10 months of age!  Congrats to Timber's great co-owner and Best Friend Julie Deroo, DVM !!  Timber was handled on this occasion by Pam McClintock.  Timber is Vanderbilt homebred Canadian Champion #83.  Watch for Timber's siblings "Star" (ptd), "Sunny" and "Ray" (ptd) to hopefully follow in his footsteps and finish their Championships in 2006!


Lone Star Cluster, TX - Congrats to BJ x Fallon son "Cutter" (Vanderbilt's Caughtcha Lookin') on picking up WD/BW 3 consecutive days (including back to back majors) under judges Edd Bivin, Judith Brown and Sharon Krogh. Cutter's owner/handler/best buddy is Lynn Godbee of Bama Sams.  Great going Lynn & Cutter!  Check back soon for pictures.

San Mateo, CA - Congrats to "Nike" (Ch. Vanderbilt's Just Do It) son ECHO's TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT on WD/BW for a major under j. G. Corish.  "Duncan" is bred by Jan Warner and Gary Jones, and owned by Sharlene Markow and Jan Warner.  Duncan's lovely dam is Ch. Echo's Dance With A Dream.  CONGRATS!

Don Fitzsimmons.  Ky is owned by Judy Wasserfall DVM and David Cann and handled by Allan Marsh.  Nice going also for "Shaker" (Vanderbilt's Shake It Up) on WB/BW/BOS (over Special) for 2 pts under j. James Fredericksen and WB/BW for 2 pts under j. Don Fitzsimmons. (HINT: She's a Shaker AND a Mover!!).

Dec. 17th/18th weekend -

Mississippi - Congrats to Truman x Chyna son Vanderbilt Aimee's True Rush on back to back majors and completing his US Championship! Rush is owned and loved by Jerry & Marion Langlois of Louisiana who are in the process of building a new home following Hurricaine Katrina.  Pix to come soon.  Great going guys!  Be sure to check out the cute pix of Rush's dam Chyna's new babies (sired by Truman's son "Heero") in the Nursery!

December 26th, 2005 - An unfathomable loss.  Our good friend and fellow breeder Michael Palutke (Snowghost Samoyeds) is killed in an auto accident.   Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Our tribute page HERE.

Elora Gorge KC, Bresslau, ON - Congrats to Yacker x Mercy *New Champion* "Ray" (Vanderbilt's Copenhagen Moon).  Ray (our 84th homebred Canadian Champion) was WD for 1 pt under j. Margaret Jones and WD/BW/BB over Special for 3 pts (+ cut in Group) under judge Mary White to finish in style!  Heero x Gemini baby girl "Bridie" (Vanderbilt's War Bride) also debuted at this her "training" show and snagged a 2 pt WB under Mary White.
