September 1,2 - Cornwall KC, Ontario - "Fallon" (BIS Ch. Vanderbilt Plays The Field) takes home her 10th and 11th BPIG, and her 4th BPIS. Also, "Roddy" son Sean (Samovar's Fur Your Eyes Only) picked up 3 more points on this weekend! Both kids were breeder/owner handled.
Also on this weekend, the AMAZING BOOMER (Ch. Vanderbilt's Krash of Thunder, CD,CGC,MADC, etc) competed in the Canadian Agility Nationals. Boomer and his very talented owner/handler Karen Stewart had a great time, ran some great courses, AND Boomer is the first EVER Samoyed to compete at this event. We're sure proud of Team BOOMER!!

September 10 - news in that "Rocky" daughters "Madonna" (Can.Am.Ch. Hawkwind's Like A Virgin) and "Indigo" (Multi BISS Am.Ch. Hawkwind's Dark Side of The Moon) receive OFA clearances of Excellent and Good respectively. Congrats to breeder/owner Suzie Black on such a successful breeding in so many ways! Suzie also now co-owns our "Shale" (Ch. Vanderbilt's Rock Anthem). Watch the Nursery for news of Shale's next breeding at Hawkwind - currently still on the drawing board.

![]() BUT ... the REALLY BIG news is that on this weekend, "Boomer" (Ch. Vanderbilt's Krash of Thunder, CD) brought home his "ATCH" (Agility Trial Champion) in a blazing run for glory at the Agility Association of Canada's trials in Muskoka, ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Boomer" is the first Samoyed EVER to receive this AAC title. Karen, there aren't words to express our humble admiration in the teamwork and accomplishment shared by you and Boom. You are an inspiration to any one involved in competitive sport!

![]() Sept. 26/27 - Wine Country Circuit, Romulus NY - "Sera" (Ch. Polar Images Seraphim) picks up a major on the first day of the circuit (26th) with WB/BW, and BOS over a Special, and becomes *NEW AM.CH* on Sept. 27th with another WB/BW in the pouring rain. Sera's new title represents the "76th" Championship bred and/or owned by Vanderbilt.
So then we went home to cheer Blair and Claire on at the Burlington shows ...
Sept 27th, 28th ... Burlington KC (ONTARIO) - "Claire" (Ch. Snowghosts Vanderbilt So Easy) wins BPIG #'s 31 & 32 + BPIS #11. Owner-handled by Blair.
